I'm Angela Thomson and I'm a self-employed artist and crafter trading as Albannach Designs. Albannach is the gaelic word for caledonian or belonging to Scotland, very apt as I'm based in Highland Perthshire and work a lot with Harris Tweed.
I've worked with textiles all my life as a hobby choosing to relax away from my career as a management consultant doing something very different. That hobby has now developed into a new career, I've expanded my activities into wall art (from acrylics, mixed media and textiles), jewellery, clay sculptures, cards, upcycling furniture as well as the functional textiles
